Captains chairs

We picked up a brand new demo T7 Ocean today whilst they sort out our GC680 (6 weeks so far). It has no captains chairs, they're fixed, with no swivel base. Looking at the brochure the swivel seats appear to be standard, so confused as to why this van doesn't have them. Anyone shed any light?

I vaguely remember something about t6.1 factory option of height adjustable seats, but this option removed the captains chairs (obv mechanisms aren't compatible)

Are you seeing a little material tab under the seat rather than the plastic handle?

All the Oceans have swivel seats.

Here you go, to rotate you pull the fabric loop. Foward and backwards adjustment is by the plastic handle

This van doesn't have a fabric loop nor plastic handle and are fully electric so differ to yours. Frankly, withot swivel seats it doesn't work as a camper!

I agree, must have swivels. So are the electric seats an option ? If so seems a bit dumb if you loose the swivel.

So just had a Quick Look and it seems you can have electric seats as an option, but you do loose the swivel, why anyone would want that is beyond me, but there you are. Ocean will come standard with both captains seats fitted

I couldn’t find electric seats on the UK configurator.

Did a quick goggle search and it came up, maybe not available anymore??
There is also a thread on here “ Do T7 electric seats swivel” guy got a French van and found out his electric seats didn’t swivel, 2,230 euro option, ouch !!
