Has anyone found the overhead control panel in VCDS?

I’ve been through all the controllers and can’t see it.

I’d like to disable the roof obstruction warning on open/close.

T5 & T6 (not T6.1), the Camper panel is not on the vehicle network and has no external diagnostic.

I believe T6.1 has external diagnostics as the Camper functions have moved to a connected module.

Interesting. I have 6.1 but failed to see anything.

Are you quoting that from a wiring diagram?
There is no VCDS controller with that title?

VW documentation.

Try CFCU (customer-specific functional control unit) - Have a look in the Gateway List as this might narrow it down if it is not this.

Will do. I’ve been through all controllers, adaptations and output tests, no sign or mention of roof. At the very least I’d expect to find open.close and limit switches.

The CFCU is a generic module that was design for aftermarket and conversions (Amenity / Emergency services) . It has the ability to have unique software logic models inside it that you use a VW logic tool to create and you upload to VW for them compile the software and allow it to be download) You have to be an approved Conversion company to get access. I think from a diagnostics / adaptions / output tests POV it will just reference the generic output and input pin references that you use in the logic models. I believe have used this approach to create the logic models for VW California features.

Can you see tests for MFA_1 etc and MFE_1 etc Rel1...

MFA01 should be Waste Water, MFA03, Fresh Water

But it will take an effort to work out all of it using Circuits, Pin Out of the CFCU

I checked the Gateway Install list.
No sign of anything that might help.
I did find this in the list.
Ticking the box allowed it to appear on the main Controller page but it just came back with unreachable.

There doesn’t seem to be any sign of any “camping” functions anywhere!
