Hi all, what settings are people using with their EcoFlow or other battery packs for the load side of the victron? I managed to flatten my leisure batteries over night, this is the first time I’ve used the solar setup to charge the ecoflow, I was expecting to it to start charging when the sun came up this morning not draining leisure batteries overnight.

I'm using one of the user defined settings from memory? I think it's set to turn the load off if the battery drops below 12.5v?

Yeah I tryed that too, I even changed the voltage to 13v on the low setting, and dispite the battery being at 12.4v it still fully charges on the load side

TBH I've only ever checked once at night and it had turned the load off, perhaps I've just been lucky. Looking at the app now it says something about changing a jumper too? Not sure if it means the yellow one on the bottom panel? I have the 75/15 controller btw.

@Neuromancer did you ever sort this out, i am seeing a similar thing. tried both user defined and conv algo 1 and found the leisure batteries dumping into the ecoflow...

@Dizzy no i didn't, i suspect a faulty Victron, @Roger tested another unit he had and it worked as expected, he did offer to test mine for me, I've just been so busy I've not had chance to send it down to him yet.... I'm currently in the states but it will be my first priority when i get back as i have some off grid trips coming up soon :)

So after some playing around i think i am satisfied it works and does shut off the flow to the load. Although i am a bit puzzled by when it does it. TBH was a bit paranoid about draining the leisure batteries.

I had the user defined algorithm 1 set, with off < 12.7V and on > 13.01V.

To try it out we "went out for a cup of tea" took our 900w kettle and brewed up , that used 9% of the delta 3 (although i did fill the kettle when there was no need). The ecoflow immediately demanded power and the controller delivered it. The panels were doing about 120W, although when i got a photo it was 69W.

What i dont understand is why the controller didnt switch off the load given vBatt was showing 11.98, was it because of the incoming solar ?

either way it did switch off see below. and didnt take long to fill the ecoflow about 30 mins, By the time we got home the leisure batteries were in float.

Hopefully someone can explain ! But still well pleased with the Delta 3, the missus can have hot water without using gas and we now have the option to use our low power twin induction hob.

@Dizzy thanks for info on the setup, I’m looking to optimise my victron settings as well for charging my EcoFlow River 2 Pro.

At the moment I’m not seeing any more than 8amps going into it via the 12v Cig Lighter adapter which is connected to the Victron Load Port:

Are you using the same setup? Are there any specific setting on the EcoFlow app that you are using? I have selected Solar Charging DC input on the App but no real change.

Thanks

Here are the settings off my EF app.
Seems a bit different to yours.
I would say we've not changed any settings from what I doc above and have been leaving the delta3 connected tbh I forgot about it. We use about 30-35% of the delta3 and come end of day not with full on so and perhaps 45mins of driving and the leisure batteries are in float and the delta3 back to 100%
So we is well chuffed

Thanks, I will take it on a road test in a few weeks so will get a chance to properly test these settings out and adjust from there.
