Hi all,

Any help appreciated. At some point in the dim and distant previous owner past my T6 beech sliding door card has been bodged and the lower trim piece that holds the table in at the bottom was glued on…badly. It’s now given up the ghost entirely and I’m hoping I can source bya replacement with the clips intact.

This is the piece in question highlighted in red, but in black.

Does anyone have any idea if it is possible to source this piece on its own? I can’t find it anywhere on line.

Thanks

Steve

That appears to have been modified from the original. This may help.

I found that diagram but it doesn’t look like a T6, might even be a T4. I found the equivalent part 17 for what I think is a T5 on the below but it’s listed as ‘Not for This Model bizarrely..

T6 has a smaller inset panel above the door as photo above….or at least mine does

The diagram I posted was for a 2017 California. I've checked other years all the same.
Have you checked with VW Parts using your VIN.
Also detachable parts normally have a Part Number stamped into the plastic on the inside surface.

Thanks for the input all, I’ve had a look at the part that’s broken off…it’s not got a discernible part number unless I’m missing something IMG_7126.jpegIMG_7125.jpegIMG_7124.jpegIMG_7123.jpegCalikev has kindly done a parts check based on VIN and gets the same ‘Not for this Model’ message I got on web search.

Does anyone have a useful parts contact at a dealer who might be able to sheas some light?

That looks like part of a complete panel assembly
It looks like the plastic welds have been removed to disassemble.
The wider panel would have the part number on it , (not the smaller component part that should be attached)

Can you post a photo of the corresponding panel , where this was fitted ? ( it may be a hybrid DIY )
