First fault was wiring fault in centre, channel with wiring had have front stripped out .

Now rear luggage compartment diesel heater blower vent not working , been told all roof lining has to come out to renew faulty part ?
not sure what part is ? any one no ?
Or had this problem ????

Can you post a photo of the blower vent you’re referring to?

To my knowledge, there are only two output vents from the diesel heater and both are on the B pillar.

There is NO rear luggage vent for the Diesel Parking Heater.

the roof lining is nothing to do with the diesel heater. you must mean the rear air con on the climate control in the back ?

Even if it is the Rear Heater/AirCon, there is no boot space output vent, only a air inlet.

Wrong again. The diesel heater air inlet is in the rhs footwell. In the tailgate is the rear motor and evaporator for the air Conditioning 3 zone

Called volkswagen sat they said the problem lies with the temperature regulator flap motor and to inspect this motor they need to remove a section of roof lining ??
no not to do with the diseal heater i was informed wrong by a young girl customer services advisor .
Can anyone confirm what this large vent actually is in the boot compartment low down on right hand side .
im getting in touch with volkswagen customer services for stress an hassle payment .
Last time got £100 when they had strip out front vehicle for faulty wiring ,
All this on a new vehicle !!!!!!!!!

are you sure the rear large vent low down on right side , is a certain just air intake only ???
An not heat should come from there ???
Are there any T6.1 owners who could check theres for me ???
I often wonder if volksawagen have fully trained california technicians at all ??

Basically it is the rear Hivac unit. It takes in air via that vent in the boot space, heats it up or cools it down, if you have the 3 zone Climatronic AirCon, then blows it out via the roof vents over the rear bench seat and also via the vent by the bench seat next to the sliding door.

Ah looks like they have diagnosed it wrong then , they are assuming heat should come out that rear boot vent ?
When in fact no heat comes out that vent at all ??? is that correct
Got another issue as well now again with fridge again but i will cover that now in my previous forum about fridge .
IM losing confidence in volkswagen technicians , cant believe they were going strip roof out unessasary

Ps you should have been a volksawagen technician your knowledge is invaluable , thanks again
