3'' replacement memory foam mattress for roof. can it be left and roof closed

Can a 3" memory foam mattress which replaces the original be left in the roof and the roof closed?

Zone sleep, who make mattress toppers advise against leaving it on the VW mattress when closing the roof, so I would say NO.

Nick at Comfortz does a memory foam replacement that can be left in the roof when closed

We have a memory foam mattress, it completely replaces the standard vw mattress and is the same thickness. The roof can therefore be closed with this mattress in place.
