67 T6 Rear right light cluster

Have cracked a section of the brake light and based on a youtube video seemed a simple 2 minute order and replace.
The part I have ordered looks completely different on the inside than the existing part so not so simple!
Has anyone managed to do this or is a VW centre the way to go?

A correct light unit, should be plug and play with two screws. Can you show us pictures please?

Existing fittings and part. Was expecting (based on a YouTube video)to unscrew a section from existing and screw it onto new part, but existing is all moulded

Are the Part numbers the same?
Looking at those 2 the bulb holes are in different positions.

Looks like a cheap copy, was it OEM or ebay special?
You may also find that the colours of the lenses are different shades, often better to buy a pair even if second hand as lots of owners have swapped to LED you may find a second hand pair.

Turns out I have LED rear lights and have bought a not-LED replacement.
Live and learn.....
