ACC, Lane Assist and EPC warning lights

Hi all

Recently received a new Ocean 204 4 motion. Headed out Saturday morning and immediately got a pop up saying lane assist was disabled. Then the ACC, Lane Assist and EPC warning lights came on and the van went into “limp mode” (restricted power, couldn’t get above about 30mph on the flat). Restarted the engine and seemed ok but decided not to drive it.

Anyway all is well but wanted to share. Called VW Assist who came out and did some diagnostics. Apparently a known software issue with the turbo charger on a cold start, fixed with a software update that he did on the driveway.

Yes!!! We love a good VW assist post with a positive outcome. It's completely understandable that there are more bad experiences posted, than good ones. We tend to vent more, when aggrieved right?
So was really pleased with a "This happened - They rocked up - Knew what the issue was - And fixed it whilst I made him a coffee" story.

I had very similar on day 3 of ownership, then it never happened again (now 5 months later)
