The lights coming on so frequently can be annoying and confusing to those following so you sometimes need to manage it. Sometimes a few mph can be naturally shaved off by coming off the gas and let friction do the rest. ACC brakes, giving a false positive to those behind who grow unsure as to whether you're really slowing down, or just dropping 1mph!

I would like a dash light to show when the brakes are applied on ACC, just for reassurance... You can't always tell whether it is just reducing power or braking.

The automatic braking when the vehicle is operating in ACC and is travelling down a slope is a problem, certainly to anyone following at night. A dash warning light would be useful and perhaps an automatic change of gear to obtain a modicum of engine braking instead in these circumstances.
