Since buying my 2012 Ocean 18 months ago I have added:
  • Fitted carpet
  • Front rubber mats
  • New fire extinguisher
  • Slide out rear tray (expensive but oh so worth it)
  • Diamond multi plug
  • Kenwood Sat Nav
  • Above cooker shelf with hooks
  • Small analogue clock (blue tacked to top of dash)
  • Small wardrobe shelf
  • Baskets for cupboards
  • Small tv aerial
  • Outside mat
  • Kampa heater
  • Portable BBQ
  • Mosquito zapper bulb
  • Levelling ramps (don't use them)
  • New jump start power pack (see thread last week)
  • Mini compressor
  • New dashcam

When I bought it, it came with:
  • LED lights
  • Wind deflectors
  • Towball
  • Cassette awning
  • DSG gearbox
  • All wheel drive
  • Additional matress

Is there anything I have missed and I really need?

Which LED lights?

Ah, so not LED headlights, just the DRLs

I stand corrected. I thought they were LEDs. Boo hoo.

Can someone post a pic of LEDs? Thank you

Dipped beam is xenon On these with DRL LEDS. I have similar set up on my golf GTD :thumb

Where did the shelf with the useful hangers come from please?

Hi there
I will have a root through receipts and let you know. When the roof it up it is very useful. I think it came from germany, not Brandrup.

Yes, calitop (https://calitop.eu/), it cost 90 euros, including postage etc. Seems a lot but after a while you forget the price and realise it is yet another useful little thing.

The rail and hooks came with it, which are removable. I hang the car keys on them at night, with my watch on the shelf. Then I don't rummage around looking for them in the morning.

With the roof up, the shelf is very handy for mugs, tea bags, etetc.

The shelf looks nigh on identical to the one I bought from Calicap.de. Mine however doesn't have the rail underneath. Retro fitted perhaps?

I have just re-read my respone to you. The was a separate purchase and it came with the hooks. It didn't come with the shelf.

Just been to the site and that shelf looks great - slightly cheaper and smarter than the one on the club shop. On their website it says "no drilling required" - this may be a stupid question, but how does it attach? Does it require and permanent alterations to the Cali? (still to nervous to do anything irreparable to mine!)

No drilling required. No permanent alteration required. It hooks over the edge of the van. I will post a pic later today if you like.

No drilling, no permanent alterations. See pics.

If you’re talking about the shelf over the kitchen window, you might want to wait a while. Bigted the 3d printer man is in the middle of designing/making some hooks to allow Ikea Sunnersta products to be hung (similar to what Aubergine did in his Cali but with other hooks) upload_2019-3-24_23-37-9.jpeg
