Alexa Echo Car?

Has anyone installed the Alexa Echo Car version in their Cali T6?

I bought one of these last year (at the time is was the only properly licensed echo for cars) before the echo auto was released in the UK. The only downside has been that it requires a third party app, which is a little flaky. As the echo-auto use the normal Alexa app I suspect the user experience is more seamless.
I have found having Alexa in the Cali very useful, particularly in winter when you want to turn on the heating or boil a kettle before you get home.

Did it sync to your radio system ok?

That actually looks a lot more compact than the Echo Auto and no trailing leads.

Yes, I have had no issues connecting to the media system and I do like that you can do it via Bluetooth, fm frequency or 3.5mm jack. My main complaint is that it doesn’t sync with its own app reliably enough...overall probably syncs successfully around 75% of the time. If it was more reliable I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it but it it irritating when it doesn’t work.
