Another Newbie from South Wales

Greetings to all,

My name is Paul, from near Chepstow in South Wales. I've been living in this forum for a week or so and what a great source of information and friendly place it is!

A weekend away earlier this summer (if I can call it a summer) on the Isle of Wight in a hired 1974 VW bus has convinced my wife and I to take the plunge and invest in a home on wheels.

Then a visit to the CaldicotVW meet convinced us that a vinatge Bay or modern conversion was probably not best suited to us.

Long story short, after some serious finacial juggling, we pick up our Cali on 1st September. "Excited" to say the least!

She is a Toffee Brown 180 DSG with all the trimmings, awning,F+R sensors, safe, privacy glass, cruise, bike rack and bluetooth. I cant wait to get out and about in her.

So far Ive been very happy with the service from VW, all bodes well for future dealings, fingers crossed.

I think the first addittions will be a set of carpets and seat covers, better start looking.
