I’m looking at upgrading the AGM batteries to 2 x 105 amp lithium. I’ve found a company who said I can just fit them as I have an agm profile for mains charger and I can put more volts and amps in with the max boost button, so all good there.
My concern is does the over head panel with all the info on tell anything when the batteries are low and need charging? As the lithium will have a higher capacity will this panel get confused? The batteries can be monitored with a Bluetooth app etc so will be more accurate than the overhead panel.
I understand the hours remaining will always show high as it will see more amps than it knows are there so will think the batteries are fully charged, which is not a problem as I can also look on the app they provide for their batteries.
Thanks.
