Hi
I'm picking up someone this week from GVA. Has anyone direct experience of driving a Cali with awning (ocean 6.1) into the short-term car park? The airport say 2m maximum which is too close for comfort.
Thanks.

The p26 car park there has a 2.4m limit if you drive to level -3

I've been in and out of there with no problem.

That said, I'd be totally shocked if the 2m general parking would represent a problem though. You're going to Switzerland, which is even more particular than Germany!

I took my T6 into plenty of places with 2m limit.

Might in theory be only 10mm buffer but that’s versus what the sign says and always found there was lightly more: never had a problem.

Many thanks
Did you use P26 for short term pick up? I can only find expensive long term options.

Picking up in Geneva is an absolute doddle.

Drive into the airport and look for signs, after the lights on the bend, saying "Court Duree", stay left. You go down a ramp and then turn right into the car park where you take a ticket. Be careful at this point as the 3m tall pickup minibuses get to use a slightly earlier entrance.

You can park directly outside the Arrivals Hall, an hour might cost you 6€, so it's stress free, this is not the UK!!!

I don't recall any parking height restrictions whatsoever. As others have said no 2m barriers are actually set at 2,000mm there's always a good allowance.

If you have to drop them off afterwards, well that twice as simple! After the lights, follow signs for Kiss and Fly, no charge and no loitering.
