Automatic Headlight beam height adjustment issue

I have an issue with the automatic beam height adjustment in my T6.1 since I bought it. There is a message that appears when starting the van that it is defective. It appeared after a few weeks, and it has been “fixed” a number of times by the (VAG) dealer so far - however after a few weeks it appears again every time. The dealer indicated that they have now replaced all of the sensors but unfortunately the message appeared again after a few weeks. I am looking for suggestions to what can be the root cause of this and am interested to understand if other people are having similar issues?

Assuming you are still in warranty just keep pressing the dealer. It’s down to VW to honour the warranty and repair, however many times it takes them. If they just faffing you back and forwards use the main VW customer services to manage. As this is not a Cali specific item any good VW Transporter dealer should be able to fix.
