Awning question.

When your away in your California do you leave the awning wound out all of the time? Would it be best to wind it in at bed time?

Think that depends on how windy it's going to be and if you have a tie down kit! I would also lower one edge just in case of a down pour so there is a run off

Play safe...unless you are 100% sure of calm conditions..wind in..it's not worth the potential calamity. And you get some arm exercise...!

If you do bother to tie it down , just leave it in case the weatherforecast is good.
If it is not tied down takes 1 min to roll in....
For me , most we do not stay more then one night in the same spot and prefer freecamp , so never go to sleep with the awning rolled out ....

We always tie it down. If its really windy I will pull it halfway and tie it and peg the legs.
