We have a 10 month old who loves being in the van. Seat covers etc. all very handy so far and she sleeps in the back on the parcel shelf - totally loves it in there and is very happy.

Outside we would like to try and contain her by making a fence round the legs of the awning and giving her some shade cover and a boundary otherwise she is offski. Anyone got any bright ideas on something that can be used to make a fence i suppose ? We have a 2mx2m wooden playpen at home which i suppose could take but it's a bit bulky...any ideas most welcome

you could peg one or even more together around the awning to make a little playpen? they fold up pretty small and are good strong tent materials so should be fairly robust too...
