Beach - Forward Facing Rear Speakers

As a follow on from the "Rear Speaker Replacement" topic in the Technical section, has anyone come across an option to fit high level forward facing speakers in the rear of a Beach.
Something similar to the speaker/cupboard arrangement in the rear of the Cali SE sounds like it may be a neat option with the benefit of providing a little extra storage without being too intrusive.

Long time since you posted but I’ve just bought a beach and would like to do the same. The rear speakers are terrible quality and location, a high level forward facing pair would seem more sensible. Did you manage to find and fit any?
