Behind front seat lights

Hi

These once worked in our 2018 California 204 DSG but now don’t?

Console rocker switch is set so that all other ambient lights (including foot wells)
come on once sliding door opened but these don’t. I’ve read some previous threads and have tried to see if they come on when headlamps are on ..but nope still not on.

Any ideas anybody? Fuse perhaps or am I missing something obvious? I have extended warranty until 2022 so could hand it over to VW to but thought I’d try the experts here first.
