Bendy Roof Light - Replacement With Better Design ?

Sorry if this has already been covered.

My 61 plate Cali has many superb design features, but the crappy bendy rooflight was always a bad decision and it has now consigned to the dustbin of history by the much improved roof lighting in the current models. Well done VW.

Has anyone replaced the bendy roof light with a more robust (fixed ?) light that is not so vulnerable to breakage ?

that is not a light it is a fly splatter.
