Black marks on California internal door curteousy lights

Hi there. My courtesy lights have black marks on them and also feel very hot at times. I wonder if it is cleaning fluid damage from a recent valet, but has anyone seen this before? Also can I get replacements anywhere. Many thanks

Could have been some harsh chemical taking the paint off the black plastic? Has it definitely happened in the valet, as it can happen over time too...

A lot of that is wear and tear. They aren't the highest quality or that robust.
You can get them from the club shop.

I have used a silver Sharpie on mine to good effect.

Definitely seen it before through clean products and techniques but are company I'm referring to didn't care they just kept replacing the fascia's.
I don't remember them being anything like £44 though in the conversation I had.
