bonjour de la suisse

Hello from Switzerland.

We are a couple of British Expats and have just ordered our Ocean here in Geneva. Looking forward to seeing many of you on the road across Europe.
Welcome :thumb

Bienvenue !

Welcome and please
Wave as soo as you see a Cali because my impression is that Swiss people are to shy to wave to other vansWe might can change this with some owners from here.

So we have had our Cali for just over six weeks now. We are super happy with it.
Apart from the water pump not working and the inside table not being put together properly we have put 7000 km’s on it.
I have attached some photos from our travels.

Looks like you demolished your garage box door by trying to fit your 2 meter high van?

Or it is just because of the slope?

Oh, and if I may react to your post about Swiss not waving back..

Don't get me wrong, but most Swiss LOOK a bit grumpy (not saying they are) in the beginning. They are a bit stiff to interact with, but once you get to talk to them, they are quite friendly.
I think it is more from the way they are (in my opionion): they are preserved.
That may be one of the reasons they don't wave (back).

Once again, don't get me wrong. I don't want to offend any Swiss California driver, but that is the way I feel about the Swiss, and that is not negative. I am quite like that too.
