Brandrup Front Sun Panel

Hi, I have been using the Brandrupfront sun panel for sometime and have got around to using the two additional poles that come with it. I am struggling to see how the set up works. One end has a spike, whack I presume gorse through top holes in the sail, the other end is just a flat end finished off with a plastic bung. The set come complete with guide ropes.

If anyone has used these poles please can they share there experiences.

Sounds like normal poles - as you say one end spiked goes in the eyelets in the panel the other rests on the ground and needs guying out. See pic here of my el cheapo extension:

Thanks for the reply - just doesn’t seem a secure way of doing it. Excuse my ignorance, assuming two guide ropes per pole, which way would be the best way to set them up?

You only need one each. See my pics. The panel keeps the tension between the poles and then the guys go out at 45 deg away each end.
