Recently used our new awning for the first time (Vango Tolga Air Low). The awning is fitted with a 6mm kador strip. I fed this directly into the C-channel on the factory wind out awning, but it was a nightmare getting it both in and out of the channel! At one point during removal I thought I would have to cut the awning off!

I am aware that there are alternative connection methods such as using plastic figure-of-8 channel on the top edge of the awning cover (and I will be using that in the future). However I am curious what others experiences are of using the C-channel with 6mm kador.

Thanks - I'll be using that kit to use the alternative attachment method.

Have you any experience of using the 6mm or 4mm kador directly into the C-channel on the wind out awning? 6mm feels too tight on my van but wondering if 4mm would fall out of the channel?
