Cali Beach - does it have Diff lock?

or does this only come with a 4 motion type of configuration which the UK Beach is not offering? On the VW site it says that Diff Lock is an integral part of the ESC system which I know the Beach has as standard.

does anyone know what type of arrangement the Beach has - i.e. Electronic Stabilisation Control (ESC), Diff Lock, ASR/Traction control?

So many different terms I'm confused.com!

No Diff Lock as it is Front Wheel drive only. It does have traction control on the front axle, ASB all-round. Others with more mechanical knowledge maybe able to advise more.

From memory the Beach has Electronic Stability Program (ESP) and traction comtrol. Plus an electronic diff lock (EDL) which locks a slipping front wheel when accelerating. Hope that helps. It should be on the the website..

Thanks for clearing that up guys.. very confusing that lot of literature says you only get EDL with 4 motion! I guess in the absence of 4 wheel drive the 2 wheel drive EDL still helps if you get stuck in a slippy/sticky situation!
