Cali topper

Question, when the Cali topper is on the roof, can you get the awning strip in the channel ?? I dont have the the fitted awning. Quite like the Khyam Tourer, but dont see them mentioned on the forum, why is the classic so popular ?? Paul.

Hi Paul,

The Cali-Topper can be anchored to the roof on the drivers side by either four or only two points (right at either end of the awning channel) There is additional bungee cord sewn into the Cali-Topper to help reduce any flapping etc if only anchored down with only the two points.

Obviously this was originally designed with the roll out awning in mind, but if the awning strip for the Khyam Tourer doesn't take up the entire length of the awning channel I think you'll be fine using the Cali-Topper

We could also include some extra length bungee loops for you to help give you more space for the awning - just a thought!
