I wonder how practical a Black roof will be? Hot in Summer?

Our Cali is black all over and we don't find it over-hot even though we've travelled in very sunny places at well over 30°C ambient and much hotter in direct sun. So I don't think the paint colour makes a great difference.

I think that most of the heat rise that occurs when you leave the vehicle parked and closed up results from the greenhouse effect; visible light coming in through the windows is re-radiated as infrared which is (mostly) trapped inside. Same as in any vehicle. Closing the blinds when you park greatly reduces the temperature rise.

Will this be available in the UK?

I seem to remember the T5 California Edition only being sold in mainland Europe (LHD).
