California Newbie

We have been checking out the forum for a while, whilst searching for our dream Cali, which we have found and are due to collect in early January. Celebrating with a glass of red and wondering if we can keep it a secret from our 2 boys until it is driven home. We have already found the site really helpful and are looking forward to any advice on how to get up and running with the initial essentials! Rgds Ben & Kelly

Hi Calikev, thanks for the reply. We are in Reading, Berkshire and went for a Black 180 DSG , with a few extras, very excited! We'll post some pictures when we've collected it. We can't wait to see the kids faces when we bring it home as we have been talking about it for ages and have finally taken the plunge!

We live in Twyford so not far from you

A black 180 DSG Cali is the spec we would choose when we finally place our order. We haven't actaully seen a Black Cali close up so we'd love the opportunity to have a look at your Cali when it arrives in Jan.

It would be great to find out how far away you are from us:?:

Hi Ron, thanks for the reply. We are in Purley on Thames, so not far from you at all! Will be more than happy to catch up in the new year so you can see the van and have a look at the colour. We had been looking for a while and when this one came up we just couldn't resist. Can't wait to pick it up....
