Camper to Campervan!

Just joined and wanted to say Hi. I am a lifelong camper but always hankered after a campervan having looked enviously at many on campsites around UK and Europe.

Presently I am scoping out options but the new T7 campervan is at the top of my list and hence this is how I found my way to this forum where I can see there is much great discussion and information. I will be following mostly threads around the T7 which seems to be getting lots of attention at the moment as it is so new.

I have always been a lifelong VW owner having had 3 Beetles back in the 1970's and 7 Golfs so the VW California would be the only option for me!

To be fair, the T7 is a lovely vehicle. But to those of us that elected to buy T5-T6.1 we feel spoilt with the space and facilities provided. We've gotten used to how to pack them, with everything in its own place.
Enjoy your new van (you will) and post photos when you find it. You will still be the envy of a lot of campers out there.
Camping in a van is such a great thing to do whatever you drive. We have met people in the most unusual vehicles and everyone is just having fun and wanting to be out there.
