hi all. Currently coming to the end of our France vacation and on a site to the west of Bordeaux. Thinking of going to futuroscope with kids on way back home. Any recommendations on a site for one night that's close to the park. We've seen that they do camping at futuroscope but apparently no toilet facilities which with kids probably won't work for us.

Quite like to be able to park the Cali up on site in the morning and then walk/train or whatever to futoroscope. Then come back after the light show late evening.

Wondered if anyone has done this and could offer recommendations/thoughts.

Thanks in advance

Poitiers has a municipal site however this one is probably better suited for you.

GrannyJen - thanks for the recommendation.

Stayed here for one night and great little site and extremely friendly. Allowed to check in at 10am and drop our bikes off on our pitch. Small drive to futuroscope park and had a great day as it wasn't that busy at all, which meant we could get on most of the attractions with no more than 5 mins waiting time. It's expensive (isn't everything?) but due to lack of queues (end of school holidays I guess) we all had a very enjoyable day and left after the late light show at 10pm and so definitely got our monies worth.

Camp site stays open until one hour after the end of the show and so no problems making it back before they locked the barrier for the night. Campsite is only 5 minutes drive from futuroscope park. For info non elec site for 4 was €26 per night, pitches lacking grass but guess we were at end of the season.
