Campingaz tap leaking

Hi

Has anybody had a tap leaking at the top where you turn it on? Not the bottle connection.

It was OK if you only turn it on a bit, about 1/4 turn. Any more and you can feel gas escaping. Tried to see if there any o rings and top doesn't come apart.

Looked online, club shop is out of stock but the valve picture has 4/16 by the thread, my one has 12.22 on it.

Are they the same?

I had same problem couple of weeks ago when checking the van in preperation for going away first time this year.

Opened the valve (as had closed it for winter) and any more than 1/4 turn and gas leaked from the top.

Found the same GOK valve on amazon for next day delivery as we were due to travel the next day.

Did the one off Amazon have different numbers. 4/16 on the new one, it's stamped next to the thread for the regulator. My old one is stamped 12.22, shown in the picture?

Thanks guys, new one ordered on Amazon. Was thinking of cutting the pipe and using a £10 regulator that fits direct on the gas bottle but decided against it.
