We are travelling back from France next week and have just discovered that the place near Calais where we normally park up (Camping Hotel Le Bal at Tournehem sur la Hem) is closed for a fortnight. Does anyone know of an alternative, within about 30 minutes of the Eurotunnel, open at the end of February? Don’t need EHU but ideally with or near a restaurant for our last evening meal. Small hotel that accepts dogs would also be ok. Any suggestions gratefully received!

You might consider Les Erables at Escalles or Camping St. Louis at Autingues. If you really want restaurant on site, then maybe Le Bien Assise at Guines.

Le Bien Assise is closed I think?

Thanks very much for the advice. Looked at the campsites BrugseB suggested and particularly Le Bien Assise as we want a restaurant meal for our last night in France - it looked good but unfortunately the restaurant is shut Monday nights when we need to stay. Have found a small hotel in St Omer that has an restaurant open Mondays and which accepts dogs (Hotel Les Frangins) so have booked in there. Thank you everyone!
