Car hire excess insurance

I am hiring a California Beach next week and was considering using insurance4carhire to protect the potential excess payment. However, campervans are excluded. What is the Beach officially registered as? I cannot ring the company as it is closed over the weekend.

I thought the beach was a people carrier for tax disc puposes. So more expensive to tax than an SE. Or am I making that up??

The V5 reg document for mine has it as:
Body type = motor caravan
Taxation class = Diesel car
What is the SE recorded as?

Also has number of seats including driver down as 7 which doesn't seem correct as the most I could take would be 4 (2 seater bench version) or possibly 5 if I hadn't sold the extra seat.
In my (limited) experience the insurance companies get confused with it as there is no fixed cooker or water system.
