Changing out Yes Campervan shelves

I have these shelves in my cupboard and am thinking of changing them.
Instead of having each shelf with a 'cut out' for wardrobe hanging bits, to have shelves which take up the whole space, ie rectangles (more or less)

Im thinking of buying some 3mm aluminium to do this

Has anyone done this and any hints or tips ?.

Also I find these shelves rattle a lot, I have used 'glue dots' to stop this but again anyone has done this better ?.
