Christmas and New Year Destinations ?

Still relative newbies, but rapidly gaining experience having had trips almost every other weekend. Trips to Wales and Scotland coming up soon with the big one to France late August.
Looking ahead, we would welcome ideas for a few nights away over the festive season. Somewhere that offers food and drink and entertainment would be a bonus.

Not sure upon your location, but this is a great town to visit at Christmas and fairly central.
Broadway in the Cotswolds Club site is really a great location for the town.

The Indian restaurant is fantastic.

moreton in marsh cotswolds christmas fair. site is about five mins walk from town and lots of eateries. Not sure what day the christmas market is this year but normal market day is tuesday.
lots of craft stalls and loads of food stalls. the swan pub does great evening meals and again is just down the road from the campsite.

Crystal Palace Caravan and Motorhome Club site. Nos 3 bus outside to Regent Street - 24hr service. We did it a few years ago - Christmas Eve National Ballet Knutcracker on Christmas Eve, free bike ride Christmas Day from Cutty Sark Greenwich along embankment and into the City of London with escorted tour around City then the Mall and Christmas lunch in a Libyan restaurant in Edgeware Road and back along embankment to Cutty Sark. Musical in London Boxing Day . One of the best Xmas holidays in the California.

Sounds great. The Crystal Palace site is definitely on our list. Makes London visits very affordable.
