Crystal Palace, Caravan & Motorhome Club site, London. Number 3 bus, outside campsite takes you to Regent Street. Went up day before Xmas Eve. Royal Ballet on Xmas Eve and meal in town. Free Xmas Day Guided bike tour from Greenwich to the City of London and onto Edgware Road for a Lebanese Xmas Dinner equivalent. Another show on Boxing Day. Great all round and site was fully occupied.

We tried it once and it was a bit sad and miserable, next time we do it we will head to Spain

We went to a pub site near Boroughbridge for xmas and new year, had venison and rabbit for dinner and new year, we had a fantastic time.

We often camped at the C&C Club site at Delamere Forest in Cheshire when we had a caravan. Lots of lights and decs. There's usually a bit of a mince pie and sherry bash on Xmas eve. There's a fabulous pub a short drive (or a longer walk) down the road and of course there's the lovely forest for a boxing day hangover walk.
