Ever wondered just how clean your seats are?
Now I like a clean car/van etc so I'm happy to vacumn and buff away with interior shampoo.
So, pre season I thought I'd give the bus a deep clean. A pal who used to valet for a living gave me a bit of advice.
I took the seats out of the bus. A bit of work involved here. Remove the seat belt runner along the side of the seat and slide them fwd and off the rails.
Next job, get the jet washer out of the garage. Attach the soap bottle to the pointy end, topped up with a good solution of Rug Doctor detergent. Let rip. Give the seats a good drenching and leave to soak.
Retire for a pint. Tribute or Doombar works best.
15 minutes later. Remove the soap bottle and fit the water nozzle. Blast away. You WILL be horrified at how much filth pours off the seats.
Once done, leave in the sun/conservatory for a few days until dry. New seats.
Carpets next.
