Hi!

New to the forum having recently purchased a T6 Beach w/ 3 seat bench. I've read all the discussions on fridge/cool box options and (almost) settled on the Dometic CFX-35 until I stumbled on the Outwell Deep Cool range.

Aside from the obvious slight differences in price / size etc.. does anyone with experience of these compressor units have any input as to how they would compare performance wise?

Dometic CFX-35 specifications here: https://goo.gl/6Lp85W
Outwell Deep Cool specifications here: https://goo.gl/D5z279

Any thoughts / input would be much appreciated?

Thanks all...

The Outwell has no power use data, so difficult to say.

After looking at the ratings of each, they are both A++ devices. The Outwell uses 77.8 kWh a year, the CFX 62 kWh per annum so the Dometic/Waeco is more efficient. Whether you will notice much difference on a weekend away or a holiday I can't say but on paper the dometic is more efficient.

Really appreciate all of your replies.
I did ask for more performance information on the Outwell via a couple of their dealers but from what I gather, this is a new model so I'm guessing detailed performance information isn't available.
The Engel looks like a great option but I ended up opting for the CFX-35 via Amazon Prime + £502.56 which I thought was a pretty good deal!?
Now time to test out on our first overnighter next week.
Thanks again :thumb

How did it go?

Hi,Looks like you have a ' pull out' system?..does that work well..? I am about to sort out a fridge system and i am unsure which on

One of the best mods I’ve done.
Really helps keep us organised and sorted. Wish I had done it years ago.

Just bought a Waeco CDF-11, very pleased so far. I'd quite like to be able to plug it in at home. Can anyone recommend an AC adapter? Halfords do one for £20 but I'm not sure if it's compatible

I recently purchased a Coleman/Camping Gaz Euro transformer 240 - 12 volts for my compressor fridge and it seems ok. I think it was about £23 from eBay
