Cooker Hob Rubber Grommets

Are the grommets in the clubshop the genuine hard ones that breaks easy, or the softer replacements that should last?

I just remember I read about better replacements, but I can not find the post again. So if one can point me in the right direction, It would make my day ;-)

Note that there is a slightly visible diffrence between the original and the ones in the shop but i only changed the on that was broken so if you look close you can see the one thats been changed.

Yes they are soft, the hard ones have even started to crack on my 2016 !!

How long do people find these Grommets last? Two were broken when the van was delivered (!) and I've got through another 4 in a year. Is that normal?

Is it beause I occasionally remove the pan rest to clean the job properly? I am super careful but one seems to break every time.

Just about to order the replacements from the club shop. Will they last any longer?

We broke a dozen of the originals within the first couple of month. The first was already broken on delivery. We changed for the softer aftermarket (from the Club Shop) … they last so far.
