Courtesy cars for fault accidents?

Hi

I’ve just insuring my new beach - found it really difficult to get a good quote - comfort would only do 10k, Motorhome club pricey.....
Safeguard are the best (forgot to ask for club discount) but don’t supply a courtesy car. Is this normal with campervan polices - I’ve taken out legal cover so would get one if no-fault accident but not covered for fault accident?
I’m used to car policies with lots of benefits so wasn’t sure if I should ring round more or if this is normal now?
Thanks, Anne

It makes sense that 'motorhome' policies have less 'replacement vehicle' cover as they assume the vehicle is only used for holidays and leisure trips.... Which is why Cali's are surprisingly cheap to insure and why asking for business use often confuses the providers. But everything is possible.

Thanks, i Guess that’s why I’m confusing them as it’s going to be my car as well. So I would be stuck without it!

I'm in the same boat, which is why plenty of us have found 'non motorhome specialist' policies. It might be worth establishing what the cost of hiring a cheap rental might be - if you were to run without that cover - just so you know when comparing between policies.
I'm with LV, but that's based simply on pricing.
