Courtesy light problem

The courtesy light in the cabin comes on when I open the passenger door but not when I open the drivers door. I first noticed this when I realised there was no warning buzzer either when the head lights were left on.

Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Sounds like a door switch not working, but I don't think there are any traditional door switches on the Cali !
Is it still under warranty ? If so add it to list to be done before it runs out.
