Crockery Racks / Storage

I'm planning on using some old crockery and avoid plastic etc. I'm a bit concerned about the rattle factor and chance of breaking it.

The current options I've seen include... tea towels

I use an Ikea box with plates and bowls separated by microfibre clothes from Costco. No noise whatsoever and no breakages.

Just use tea towels as packing. With space at a premium storage racks would be a luxury.

I'm probably at the point I haven't filled the cupboard to the max yet! Give it time
