Rear Pod / Drawer T5/ T6 Ocean / Cost / SE
I had this manufactured specifically for my T6 Ocean a couple of years ago.
It replaces the rear bed board for the T5 / T6 California and makes the bed a little shorter (about 2” shorter)
The reasons being, to make it easier for me to access camping equipment under the bed (via the drawer of the lift up top) and also when in bed mode it means you can fit the 335 at the bottom of the bed on a night time due to the extra space and also it allows the easy fit draws to open whilst the bed is down too.
I also had the drawer manufactured to allow the storage of longer items under the seats nearest the wardrobe side for maximum storage. From the pictures you can see the drawer is not the full length of the unit. The Drawe can also house a Thetford 335.
It works in conjunction with a 3” mattress topper from Comfortz. I’ve kept this as it fits in the T6.1 nicely, so you’ll need to have a chat with the Comfortz guys for a bespoke mattress – this can be arranged also by us if needs be.
This cost me £650 to have manufactured from vhoringer board - £200 cash on collection please – Chesterfield - S44 5HS
Sizes are circa– L97.5cm x W56.5cm, x H44cm high. there's the odd mark / scratch from use but nothing major.
