new to calis, cycle racks etc etc, we decided we had better have everything!
so we loaded up the bikes on the excellent cycle rack and deployed our new cover.
Because the cycles extend sideways beyond the width of the van, we weren't able to wrap the cycle cover inboard enough, so it acted like a parachute, even with bungee cord wrapped everywhere. yes really!. we lost several mph and then we abandoned it.
also, we bought a striped warning sign to hang on the rear, which is compulsory in Spain - and yes, people do get fined. we camped next to people who had been fined either 60 of 80 euros. so get a sign - its worth the small expense.
