Damage to awning

Hi guys, your help/advise please. Cleaning the wind-out awning the other day and noticed a small (pin-prick) hole in the awning canvas. I would appreciate knowing if you have suffered something similar and what repair method you used or would recommend? A small thing but very annoying. Thanks in anticipation.

To be honest if is that small I would not worry about it -- sure a patch would stand out more.

Zebedee needs a clean on his awning....out of interest what did you use and how did you do it? Both sides or just the underneath?

When I did our used wet wipes kitchen ones not toilet ones seemed to work well

Thank you for your responses and thank you daz60 for the link. I will check it out.

As for the cleaning, I used a damp micro cloth on the underside and on the upper an extendable clean mop, well rung out. Both worked very well.
