I’m looking to see if you can get remote locking deadlocks for the GC to save having the physical lock on show on the panel, but I did see a internal lock and pin assembly for the rear doors and wondered what you guys have done if anything to make the van that little bit more secure.

The rear door assembly I’ve attached below.

I use a steering wheel lock, pedal lock and the van is covered on all sides by CCTV with motion detection when at home. Am thinking about getting a Bearlock installed at some point but they’re pretty expensive, not much change out of £500.

I was thinking more to stop them getting in.

I have a disclok for the steering wheel, a tracker will be fitted and it will be parked at a secure compound.

More so for when we are away in the van.

We have the same concerns, but feel that if they want to get in then there are far easier ways....i.e. pop one of the plastic side windows.

So just make sure that the alarm system is properly set, and hope someone hears it and takes time to investigate!

I've have gone a bit over kill. I know if they want, they will take it ,but make it hard.
1.pedal lock
2.steering wheel lock.
3. Wheel clamp.
4. Tracker s5.monitured
6.Door straps to seat belt locks.
7.CCtv and ring door bell.
All I have to do now is sleep in every night.lol.

Oh yes I am thinking how to stop windows being opened, have Velcro on them at the mo.
All this a bit of s pain if you fancy a spin.

I don't take these things away ,just the steering lock. And I live in a very nice area, but you never know?

The Bear lock ,good idea, but it will not work on the facelift I think,?.

Ring Door Bell.....I don't think that they will ring the bell for you to open the door!
