I've had a dealer fitted (not available as a Factory option) rear spoiler.

On a more detailed check today I've found that the rear washer nozzle is now buried inside the spoiler and water slowly drips out of it.

Anybody else had one fitted and should there be a cut out or more sensibly the washer repositioned onto the spoiler?

That's interesting. On the T5 the washer jet is intergral with the Wiper Spindle which is at the bottom of the Tailgate Window.

ditto to WG on my T6 --- where did they put your spoiler!

Spoiler is on the door metal top.

I thought the washer would be on the spindle when I couldn't see one.
When tested no water at first then foam started to come down from top above brake light.

Trying to find out what would be normally be there before contacting dealer on Monday.

Ah Ha. got it sussed. Head in shame.

Got a bit of help this time to check and watched what was going on from outside the back

The spindle does supply the wash jet but it goes up past the window & hits the spoiler then dribbles back down.

obviously a bit of jet alignment needed only.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

In spirit of this forum I thought I'd help by investigating mine as I have a T6 with dealer fit spoiler.

So out to the van I went. Ignition on and tested the rear wash / wipe. It was clear to see the water came from the bottom but when I went to the back to see where the jet is I couldn't see it in the dark. I then tried the completely pointless excercise of activating the washer and trying to run to the back of the van to see where the water was coming from. It should have been obvious that this would not be successful but two or three attempts probably provided a brief episode of entertainment for the neighbours. OK - that wasn't going to work so then the search began for something with which I could gently wedge the stalk in the activated position. Eventually a tissue box did the trick and I discovered that the jet is right on the end of the spindle. By then I'd probably emptied the reservoir so tomorrow's job will be working out how to top it up (which I've never done yet).

Then I came back in to post the results and saw that you'd worked it out for yourself :headbang.

My headbang not yours.

Great to know that it's not really a one man diagnosis process and that there are those on here who go out of their way to assist.

Thanks and if we ever cross paths remind me I owe you a washer bottle fill up and a box of tissues.;):thanks
