We have just returned from a long weekend at the Deepdale Campsite in Burnham Deepdale and have to say it is one of the best campsites we have stayed at.
The campsite has about 150 pitches and caters for tents, campervans and motorhomes - no caravans allowed!! Of the 20 or so families on site half were in VW Californias or Transporters.
Facilities are excellent with two brand new shower blocks containing individual 'bathrooms' each with shower, wc, basin, hairdryers & underfloor heating.
It is in a great location within walking distance to the coastal path, amazing beaches and two good pubs.
They are also organising a music festival on the site in September which we will definitely be going to - would be great to see some other California Club members there. Details are on their website.

Agreed...we've been a couple of times....the new shower blocks were just open last time we went. Can recommend the food in the White Horse too..5 mins walk

Yes it’s a favourite of ours too . They’ve worked hard and invested a lot of money into this site .
Don’t tell everyone though !

Another thumbs up from us too. We were there between a Christmas and New Year in pouring rain, wind and zero degrees. That shower block was amazing!

Just checked out their website. It looks great. Definitely on the itinerary for this summer.

Very nice site, excellent shower block ,we go maybe 1/2 dozen times throughout the year.. if you like fish n chips then try ERICS + THORNHAM ,loads to do in the area from beach walks to Bistro's

I'm sat there now.... It's our second visit as we camped in the summer before we bought the California. Unfortunately we have to go home today ☹.
White Horse pub served amazing muscles last night and there are huge windows looking out over the salt marsh.
We have 2 kids so good facilities is a must for us. The shower rooms are huge so you can take the kids and get them showered without any drama and the heated floor was welcome on a cold February evening .
If there is a music evening on then you must go. We had an amazing evening in the hostel sitting room listening to 2 folk/blues musicians, one of which came all the way from Alabama USA!
I can recommend Holkham Hall for cycling with children. The tracks are fairly easy to cycle on, there are huge monuments around the estate and you can get within feet of red and fallow deer.
I'm sure that we will be back again.
