Hi.

I bought a 2023 GC600 and was told it had ambient lighting. Didn’t really know what this meant if I’m being totally honest but I have just found an “ambient lighting” icon on the control panel. When I select it it gives me all the colour options etc and when I turn it on I hear a relay click by the consumer unit but no lights.

So do I have ambient lighting and it is not working or is it not fitted..?

I saw a picture in here which seamed to show some additional kit (cambus and dc-dc..?) in the box section under the consumer unit. Had a look and there is nothing there. But still git the function on the panel and the clicking breaker..?

What can I look for to definitively asses whether this is fitted or not..?

The control panel can be configured to show the ambient lighting controls with or without it being present. If you have two light switches beside the sink/bed above the sockets, the one nearest the sink is the ambients. If you don’t have that switch you don’t have factory ambients. If you have the switch but can’t get the ambients to turn on try a power cycle (big red switch in utility cupboard)

Thanks for the advice Gordon
