does adding a parking header invalidate warranty?

Looking at various second hand beaches 2yrs old-ish.

Doesn't seem to be many with parking heaters and I think I would be happy to get an after-market Eberspacher/Webasto fitted.

But would doing so invalidate the remaining manufacturers warranty?

Hi it would not invalidate your warranty on major components like the gearbox or engine etc however it would invalidate your corrosion/ body warranty around any area that has been cut/ drilled to fit the heater. It also may invalidate any warranty on your fuel tank pump and sender unit if it was found that the modification had caused a failure of a component or due to damage from installation.

I fitted one a year into ownership and can confirm it didn't effect my warranty other than the area where the body was cut for the air intake.
